Merry Christmas (albeit belated)!

Went on a short short trip to Genting Highlands on Christmas Eve. I was looking forward to being on the Space Shot but as I expected, no one dared go on it except for me. You had to pay RM 38 to go in, even if you're not riding on the rides, so I asked my dad to drop the idea, although he did offer to pay for it. The only outdoor ride I took was the Flying Coaster, which wasn't much of a thrill, to my parents' surprise. They said that I didn't inherit the "I'm-Not-Afraid-Of-Roller-Coasters" genes from them. Anyway this time we went on this trip with my dad's brother & family (aunt + two cousins).

I was sleeping most of the time on the road trip there. And my mother took so many pictures of me doing that.

School's starting real soon! And details on the Sec3'09 form teachers can be found on the school website.
Honestly speaking, I'm looking forward to next year.

Oh wait, hold on. Anyone knows the exact title of the Chinese argumentative essay we're supposed to do as homework?
If not, it's guessing time! .

I'm thinking of having a bright hot pink + cool black replace the original pastel pink as the new colors of the wall in my room .

Yesterday I attended a housewarming at Aunty Sharon's house. My mother and Aunty Sharon go a long way back - they've been friends since secondary school. Anyway since Glenda couldn't make it, I had to move around "social groups", so to speak. From the little girls in primary school to the adults/mothers, listening to a variety of topics ranging from adorable soft toys to, well, cars and things like that. We exchanged Christmas presents there as well. One of the presents was an iPod shuffle, from the Product(Red) range, and it looks gorgeous. I put around 13 songs in it, so it eases shuffling.
I ate a lot that day, so time to eat lesser (?). Or maybe not, I mean come on - it's Christmas! Going for a buffet dinner tomorrow night .

I can't believe how time flies. School's going to start real soon.

My new ringtone is awesome.

I'm down with the flu, but I still went to Raffles City/Paragon today to collect a Crumpler for my cousin. My mother bought that as a present so I have to go down to collect it. I finally got a pencil case for next year. It's black & pink from Guess. Mostly pink. But I think it looks awesome. I tied a fluffy white fur ball to it. So it looks even more awesome. Had Subway for lunch. By myself. That's like, such a loner. I was alone for a while, before I met my mother (phew, saved from the loneliness).

Going to meet Glenda tomorrow! She said she baked cookies for me. Awwwww, sweet. . Plus, we'd be doing exchanging of Christmas presents! I think. But anyway I'm sure it'll be fun, with all the food especially.
I hope I can taste properly though, my tastebuds has not been working to my favour these days.

Ohwellz. I love new stuff. They're pretty cool. And my birthday is seriously coming ("seriously coming" haha). 15 15 15 15 years old. Old. But still cool.

Bought new shoes, dresses and other stuff!! (Two exclamation marks to depict the degree of happiness). Like, so totally awesome!
I'm down with the flu again! This is extremely annoying.

Just a short update. I think it's better now that there isn't any tagboard. My blog has become more personal!

#83 Wake up call.

13th December 2008: 10th! .

I haven't been posting in decades.
No surprise. All you need to know is that it's because I have been planted right in front of the television for many hours straight (PS I watch TV, but I boycott certain shows - people who know me well should know). Quite an incredible feat, if you ask me. Anyway, in case you were wondering, I'm not a recluse. I do go out, albeit occasionally. Like on Tuesday, I went out with Rachel, Carolyn and Yanyee to Bugis Junction. We were supposed to be doing Christmas shopping but I doubt we did anything like it. We just walked around Bugis Junction, something I enjoy doing - it's a form of exercise. In the end, we split up and Rachel and I headed for Raffles City instead. Rachel was leaving for Egypt that night and was looking for a hat/cap to bring along to Egypt as she needed something to cover her poor little head/scalp while facing the wrath of the desert. We didn't get the hat in the end, so I wish her head all the best, hopefully she'd be able to find a worthy replacement for it.

We left Raffles City, Rachel went home while I continued my exercise. Went to Plaza Singapura just for the fun of it and bought quite a few things there.

Oh! Did I mention, I have collected my school books and labelled every single one of them! Ah, sheer excitement. Bought loads (?) of stationery for next year as well - I just love doing this. Got my dad to go out with me to get those, he hardly questions me about what I bought. Haha.

Seeya, if I post. If I don't, let's just declare this blog boring.

I honestly feel like going out some day to get stuff for school next year. (I always feel like this)
And apparently I didn't get food poisoning! I got the gastric flu instead. Either way, I don't think it's comfortable at all. I keep wanting to throw up. Yesterday I managed to (quite a few times), but after being on medication I can't seem to puke anymore.

Last night was pretty bad, I kept waking up in the middle of the night to puke. At times I managed to, but sometimes I didn't - and that was the most uncomfortable feeling. But I must say, I'm recovering pretty well now - haven't puked since the afternoon. Except that I've still lost my appetite (terrible because I hardly lose my appetite). The only thing I'm surviving on now is chrysanthemum tea. Oh, and the quarter of the instant noodles I was forced to shove down my throat just so to ease throwing up.

Oh yes, and if you've noticed, I got rid of the tagboard and changed the layout. .
Gotta go rest now!

Oh gosh. I woke up at around three in the morning because I felt really hungry (?). Maybe I'm not hungry.. But really, immediately I rushed to the toilet and my stomach was seriously hurting. I went back to bed but I couldn't sleep at all. So here I am, awake when my parents aren't. Well, considering that I slept much later than them, I think I have a lack of sleep.

Well since I was feeling "hungry", I conveniently reached for the bottle of water near me. And once I drank a sip of it, I felt like regurgitating. Ew.

Food poisoning? Or just a normal stomachache. Could be gastric too, considering that my mother did mention that this sickness, so to speak, is a heriditary sickness. Not sure if that is possible but, that's what she claims. Either way, I don't like how it's feeling.
Oh man, not on the last day of my holiday.

Gah my stomach's hurting again. I wish I could just puke.
The pain is so... sporadic. Comes and goes, comes and goes, wheeeee.

Major bummer .

I HOPE I CAN STILL EAT!
I eat to live.
I live to eat.
Therefore, if I don't eat, I wouldn't be able to live.
Likewise, if I don't live, I wouldn't be able to eat.

I have been on Facebook for nearly three hours (considering that I woke up and started using the computer at four in the morning).

I'm so sorry I couldn't wish you via SMS, it's really expensive to send an SMS! So so sorry, I'll make it up to you yeah! Btw, you're finally fourteen! Yay!
Hmm, I did mention that I'll post only when I get back but it shouldn't hurt to post now, hmm? .

I'm leaving Surabaya tomorrow. Surely I'm going to miss this place for the shops and food. Well more of the shops actually. There were a few real good deals which we spent most of our money on. We were like "Oh my, this is GOOD. Buy buy buy". We spent nearly two hundred Singapore dollars on clothes in one shop.
And it's rather cool, seeing that 200 SGD (Singapore Dollars) is around 1480000 IDR (Indonesian Rupiah).
Furthermore when I get back to Singapore, I'm definitely not looking forward to the 7% GST and what not. Oh yes, fresh fruit juices sold in restaurants cost about $2 or less. Just that they are a tad too generous on the sugar they put in.

I had a fire floss bun from BreadTalk yesterday, it was pretty good. Heehee. Maybe in Singapore it tastes the same, just that I hardly eat that there.
Oh yes! I don't think I mentioned that I got to use the hotel's gymnasium! I had a really good time there, I love gyms! They're cool, and back in Singapore, I'm quite deprived of it.
How annoying, I've got bitten by the mosquitos too! .

Just got back from dinner with the whole gang - meaning the girls from Nanyang and boys fron ACS(P) & the coaches. Initially, I was supposed to stay in the hotel because I didn't want to go to the training centre as it is rather hot there. So my parents let me stay in the hotel and I just played around with the computer. But in the end, the coach wanted me to go as well so they made my parents go to the hotel to bring me to the restaurant. How nice of them .

Alright, now I'm seriously starting to wonder if the internet usage is free here... .
